Overview:
Congratulations, your political party has decided to run for office. It’ll be a
tough job but you can help your candidate win this election.
Step 1: Pick your group, up to four people per group, anymore then four
and you need permission first.

Step 2: Pick the name of your political party, examples in history have included:
Democratic Party, Republican Party, Constitution Party, Green Party, Libertarian Party, Federalist Party,
Whig Party, Know Nothing Party, Bull Moose Party, and the Progressive Party. This is not a complete list
but something to just help you get an idea of a new and original party name.

Here are your tasks(things you’re graded on) to help you achieve victory in your campaign.
Your Political Parties Platform & Candidate Debates: The following are topics that you as a political
party have to come up with a position on, be prepared to answer questions on each of these during the
debates, all members of the party need to be prepared to answer the questions.
Foreign Policy Issues

Yard Signs:
We see these everywhere during election season. They need to include the following information:
Candidates Name, Party Name/logo, and a brief positive message.
Campaign Buttons:
A small button to be worn on your shirt that pledges your support you’re a certain candidate, these can
include any catchy slogan as long as they are positive.
TV Commercial:
Your TV commercial is to be between 15 to 30 seconds long and should be positive in nature, include
two reasons why people should vote for you and needs to feature your Presidential and Vice Presidential
Candidates.
